LIFE REIMAGINED

A four-part wellbeing programme for parents and carers
8pm on 19th & 26th April, 3rd & 10th May 2026
Life Reimagined is a free four-part wellbeing programme for Camp Simcha families hosted by the Almond Tree Foundation. It's designed for parents and carers of children with disabilities or long-term illness.
Caring for a child with complex needs can feel relentless at times. This programme explores what becomes possible when we look beyond the daily demands of parenting and reconnect with the wellbeing and resilience that are already within us. Each session will be relaxed and confidential, a friendly space to talk, listen, reflect and learn. Facilitated by parents of children with complex needs, sessions offer a fresh perspective on stress, fear and overwhelm, and how a shift in perspective can change how we feel in the moment.
The programme is particularly relevant for families living with ongoing medical uncertainty and emotional strain. Participants will learn how to access their natural resilience and ability to thrive despite their circumstances. As they begin to understand how stress and overwhelm arise, they will learn how to experience more calm and clarity in daily family life, along with a renewed sense of hope.

About the Programme
Life Reimagined consists of four weekly 75-minute online Zoom sessions. The series is interactive with space for discussion, reflection and shared insight, rather than being presentation-based.
No prior knowledge or preparation is required, and places are limited to maintain a conversational and supportive group atmosphere. As each session builds on the last, places are offered on the basis that participants plan to attend all four sessions.
19th April - 8pm: When Life Doesn’t Go to Plan
26th April - 8pm: Seeing Stress in a New Way
3rd May - 8pm: Accessing Resilience in Real Time
10th May - 8pm: Moving Forward with Clarity

The Almond Tree Foundation supports parents of children with disabilities or serious illness through wellbeing programmes grounded in lived experience. Our facilitators are parent carers and professionally trained coaches, drawing on caring for their own children with complex needs as well as many years supporting other families.
Our name comes from the almond tree, a symbol of hope and renewal. As one of the first trees to blossom after winter, it signals spring and the hope of change in the season ahead.
About the Speakers

Julian Fraser
Julian’s second child experienced complications at birth, which marked the beginning of a very different journey for his family. His daughter, now 22, has quadriplegic cerebral palsy with complex care needs, and her brother also has Autism and ADHD.
The early years brought many challenges, and Julian often felt uncertain about what lay ahead. Over time, a shift in perspective helped him see that wellbeing and hope were still available, even in difficult moments.
He later trained as a professional practitioner, and for the past 15 years has shared this understanding through conversations, workshops and community programmes, always with a focus on making wellbeing feel simple and grounded in everyday life.
In 2020, Julian co-founded the Almond Tree Foundation to support parents of children with disabilities. He lives in London with his wife, Jo, their five children and Henri the Labrador.

Angelina Hynes
Angelina Hynes is a life and wellbeing coach, a speaker and a family carer. Thirteen years ago, Angelina was plunged into the caring role when her daughter Zoe was born with a rare genetic syndrome. Completely shellshocked she had no idea how to navigate the special needs journey and fear and anger became her constant companions.
In 2018, Angelina reached the point of burnout. She resigned from her permanent, pensionable job and spent a year in hiding away from the world. She was always interested in mental health and wellbeing so returned to college to study coaching and the psychology of coaching.
Since then, she has come across the simple secret of how life works from the inside out, transforming her experience from stress and overwhelm to a life of ease, fun and laughter. She is passionate about creating space to help others to wake up to their extraordinariness and a renewed way of living.
